Kailyn is a practicum student at The Loft Therapy & Wellness currently completing her Master’s in Counselling Psychology. She brings a warm, grounded presence to her work and holds space for others with gentleness, curiosity, and care. Her approach supports clients in deepening their relationship with themselves by encouraging emotional safety, self-understanding, and a sense of growth that feels integrated and authentic.
Kailyn draws from Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Compassionate Inquiry, somatic awareness and other modalities. She holds a deep appreciation for the wisdom carried in both the body and the spirit. She is especially drawn to supporting adults (18+) with challenges related to relationships, stress/burnout, anxiety, ADHD, grief/loss, and life transitions (divorce, career changes, moving, etc.).
She is a certified 200-hour yoga teacher and holds additional training in holistic nutrition. Her personal healing journey has been shaped by years of exploring holistic and integrative approaches to wellbeing. These experiences continue to guide the way she attunes to others and holds therapeutic space.
Kailyn recently returned home to Saskatoon after spending several years living on Vancouver Island. Her time on the coast deepened her love for nature, slower living, and the healing power of the ocean. She continues to carry those rhythms into her daily life and therapeutic work.
Outside the therapy room, she finds joy in cooking nourishing meals, journalling, yoga, dancing, listening to music (country is her favourite), and going on long walks in nature with a good podcast. She is often happiest with a cup of tea or coffee, a beautiful view, and meaningful conversation with someone she loves. Her core values of genuineness, health, connection, and a touch of adventure are reflected in the way she lives and the way she supports others through therapy.

Before training as a counsellor, Greg worked in trades and then spent ten years teaching, much of it with adult learners in Canada and abroad. As a teacher, he began to see how mental health challenges were affecting his students and limiting their potential. Over time, the limits of the classroom left him longing for a more direct way of helping people, and that search eventually brought him to counselling.
Greg brings an approach that is real, warm, and non-judgmental. He works with individuals, couples, and families, and welcomes clients from all backgrounds. His varied life experience and work with diverse cultures inform a practice that feels grounded and approachable. He is beginning training in Somatic Experiencing and draws from Internal Family Systems, mindfulness, narrative therapy, and CBT.
Greg feels that therapy should meet people where they are. Therapy does not have to start with something big; it can be as simple as showing up to talk about what is on your mind. And if the words are not there—or if the story feels too hard to tell—just start by noticing what is happening physically: an emotion or some tension can provide a solid place to begin.
Outside of counselling, he enjoys working around his house, time with friends, gardening, reading, or just watching a movie.
